The ones who know me and my journey with my horses have been privy to see and hear the miraculous ways that I have experienced with my horses. George in particular was the one teaching me with great patience and tenacity.
And here is another example on how George prepared me to hold my energy for a beautiful outcome:
As I progress in the studies of Mastering Alchemy (5th year at the time of writing this article) I would like to share with you the concept of the 7 Layers of Thought by Jim Self - Founder of Mastering Alchemy which I believe are very insightful to our connection and being with our horses.
First, I would like to share Jim Self's teaching about the 7 Layers of Thoughts. Then I would like to share with you what I have experienced using this "7 Layers of Thoughts" with my horses.
Once more we @ DancingwithmyHorses.com had a beautiful time with Mara Zimmerli - professional rider, yoga teacher and performing artist from Europe - putting together an opportunity for interested people to receive a private lesson. Mara was focussing on teaching people the necessary body awareness to be able to connect with themselves and the horses on a different level.
Animals, especially those who are human pets, have a great capacity to relate at heart level. They are here to serve and love unconditionally. If you approach it from your heart to their heart, you establish that relationship at the heart level. You can do this for exampe by physically touching them and just resting your hands on them and allowing on giving love to them and then receiving it back.
With the arrival of Omaru Apreeto, a new dimension has opened in our world. I would like to share what the horses George, Rosie and Omaru Apreeto have taught me so that you can feel this and take it with you when you go out and connect with your animal friends:
"We, the animals, are showing you balance, balance in physical attributes and character but also in energetics. We are like mirrors for yourself to see how these very different energies can relate to you, as well as with each other. Have no fear! As you no longer fear parts of yourself then why would you fear anything outside of you that reflects this.
With Omaru coming into my herd (read about the miraculous story of Omaru coming into my life) the opportunity of riding is right in front of my face. I had given up on the idea of riding George since he had his accidents. I felt it was not right for me as a novice rider, slightly on the heavy side to put this onto George and his injured front legs. I was just as happy to just have my horses and be with them.
Today I found myself in a new situation with my good friend George, my teacher par excellence. The weather has turned cold and rainy and he had his rug on for the first time this season and I had also changed the routine on how I feed them. So this morning I wanted to come him into the stable area with his rug on, stand for me while I take the rug off and put it over a stable wall to aerate. This was a new idea of mine, him being helpful to me coming into the stable complex to take off his rug rather than me taking off the rug in the paddock. He stood outside the stable complex and refused to come with me.
